No matter what you do, make sure you’re good at it.

Here’s the truth: Anyone can tell you how to get clients. But until you're good at what you do and you know you're good at it, there’s going to be a disconnect. And even if you get a client to sign when you're not good at what you do, they won't stay.

That’s why your #1 priority should be mastering your craft. The more confident you are in your abilities, the more you attract your ideal clients… not just because you’re really good at what you do, but because you also have confidence in it.

Teach and replicate.

Once you’re really good at what you do, it’s time to train others to do the same. No matter what you do, when you are building your business, you can't hire people under you if you can't train them.

And in order to train people, you have to know your subject forward and backward. You have to be really good at what you do in order to train your team and to follow your lead & help your clients. When you do a good job, it becomes a virtuous circle. Your clients are going to love and refer you, and building your business just gets easier.

Client results and referrals.

Once you’re solid in your craft and everyone under you is on the same page, the real client transformations can begin. When you're really good at what you do, you get your clients the results they need – and that’s where true, lasting transformation happens.

And when you know that you're able to facilitate that transformation, then you build more confidence in yourself. That's true confidence (beyond just journaling about wanting to be worthy, for example). It's proof that your service is valuable because you know everything you need to know about it. And absolutely everything falls into place from there.
