Okay, friends. Today, we're talking about Xero roadshows!
I'm so excited that things are finally starting to pick back up in person again. Xero has announced that they're doing roadshows again this year, and I'm going to be talking about what that is, what my involvement will be, and how you can win FREE TICKETS to this event!
What Are Xero Roadshows?
These roadshows are day-long conferences. They’re each only one day long, and they’re being held in three different locations this year. They are in Austin, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; and Los Angeles, California. Austin is being held July 27th, Atlanta is August 3rd, and Los Angeles is on August 17th.
I'm going to be attending the Atlanta one, and I'm so excited because I get to share about my journey as a Xero partner on the partner panel. I'm not exactly sure what the details are on that yet, but I'll be able to share my experience as a Xero partner, and I mean…you all know I love Xero right?
When you go to the Xero Roadshow in person, not only are you meeting like-minded people and probably finding ways that you can collaborate and learn from each other, but you're also going to learn a lot about the software that you already use and love.
You're also going to hear about new features that are coming out and be one of the first to know about it. And, of course, you're going to learn how to use this platform even more efficiently.
Even if you only take like one thing away from it technically—which I would imagine that you're going to take away more—you're going to learn more efficiencies. And beyond that, it's just really fun to be there in person.
You also earn CPE points by attending, which is really cool.
Inside of Libby, we've been talking about these roadshows since I found out about them a little more than a month ago. A lot of people are already deciding which location they're going to. They're forming meetup groups. They're excited to finally get to meet each other in person at something like this.
These are great locations. They're all easy to get to, and probably close to you; if you're in the continental US, it won't be hard to get to one of these major cities. Atlanta is very easy for me to get to from South Florida.
How to Win A Xero Roadshow Ticket
From now until noon EST on June 30th, you can go to katieferro.com/roadshow to enter to win a ticket.
There's a few things that you'll need to do to win your ticket. You’ll go and do these three things, then you’ll submit a form, and that's going to be your entry to win.
I'm going to announce five winners, and those five winners get to choose the location that they want to go to. I'll send you a code, and you’ll get to get your ticket for free.
All you have to do to be entered to win is:
- Subscribe to my podcast Profits and Prosecco, if you haven't already. (If you have, screenshot the proof on your phone!)
- Leave a review for my podcast, if you haven't already. (Again, screenshot if you already have!)
- Take the screenshot of your review, post it in your Instagram story, and tag me @orderlyaccountingbykatie!
- Go to katieferro.com/roadshow and submit screenshotted proof of having completed the prior three steps
- Hit submit!
After you complete these steps, I'm going to get notified, and you're going to have an entry to win!
If you don't have Instagram, because a fair amount of my followers don't have Instagram, that's fine. But if you do have it, tag me there, and maybe I'll give you half a point extra.
I don't want to make it so that you're not getting your chance to go if you don't have Instagram, though maybe now is a great time to get it so that you can have your first story share be tagging me. I would absolutely love that. But what I really want to do is share with you what these roadshows are and give you a chance to get a ticket for free.
Even if you don't win this, this has $125 value. That's how much tickets are through June 30th. You can go to purchase a ticket directly from Xero at an early bird discount of 25%, so I'll try to get the winners announced before the end of the day on the 30th. That way, if you don't win, you can still take advantage of that early-bird discount.
